Ken plays bass (acoustic and electric) with several music projects in the Chicago area, including:

   Ken's avant-funk-jazz group

• The Ken & Jim Show
   Ken's duo with Jim Gailloreto

• The Gephart/Long Quartet
   piano, bass (Ken), drums, sax

• The Joe Hurt Trio
   piano, bass (Ken), drums

When not performing, Ken teaches other people about music and how to play it. He does this most frequently at Elmhurst College.
